Volkswagen Diesel Emissions Settlement Program

Volkswagen Owners and Lessees Have Options Volkswagen TDI

Let Volkswagen buy back your car. The Emissions Settlement Program states the following: that if you currently own a Volkswagen, if you are currently leasing the car through Volkswagen Credit, Inc. or Audi Financial Services you have the option to terminate your lease without an early  termination penalty, or if an Emissions Modification is approved for your car by the United States Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and the California Air Resources Board (CARB), have your car's emissions system modified at no charge. Volkswagen is determined to re-gain the trust of our loyal customers.

Volkswagen has reached Settlements involving 2.0-liter Volkswagen and Audi diesel vehicles with the United States Environmental Protection Agency ("EPA"), the California Attorney General, the California Air Resources Board ('CARB"), the Federal Trade Commission, and current vehicle owners/lessees. If you need help with any aspect of the buying process, please don't hesitate to ask us. Our customer service representatives will be happy to assist you in any way. Whether through email, phone or in person, we're here to help you get the customer service you deserve.

What are the next steps?

Owners and lessees will receive a notice by mail announcing the specific terms of the VW Settlement Program. The notice, provides current owners and lessees and some former owners and lessees information about their rights under the Volkswagen Settlement; how to exclude themselves, object, or comment on the Settlements; and all other VW Program Settlement options. Eligible individuals can now create an account online, which will allow them to evaluate their options if the VW Settlements receive final Court approval. After the notice period is over, the Court will hold another hearing to decide whether to grant final approval of the Settlements. At this final approval hearing (anticipated this Fall), the Court will consider comments on the Settlements. If you have additional questions about the Settlements, you can find more information here.
