How To Connect Your Volkswagen Bluetooth

Safety while driving is a top priority to all drivers, and to all of us here at Hiley Volkswagen of Arlington.  One vehicle feature that helps contribute to this safety is a vehicle's Bluetooth system.

What Is Bluetooth?

Bluetooth provides a wireless connection between your vehicle and your mobile device. This allows you to keep your focus on the road instead of on your phone.

How Do I Use Bluetooth?

In order to use Bluetooth in your car, you need to first connect your phone to the system. Here are the steps you'll need to take to do so!
1. Start your vehicle.

2. Make sure your Bluetooth on your cell phone is turned on. You will probably need to do this under your phone's "Settings."

2. Search for new devices on your phone's Bluetooth menu and select the vehicle with the last 4 digits of your VIN.

3. A connection request should appear on your vehicle's infotainment screen. Click "Connect."

4. Make sure the PIN displayed on the screen matches the one that appears on your phone, and press "yes" on the infotainment screen and "pair" on your phone when this is confirmed.

5. Your phone's Bluetooth is now connected to you vehicle!
